How much do you pay for your electricity? Do you think given a chance you would be glad to forgo your electricity bill? Would you consider investing on setting up your own power generator through renewable energy sources? Did you know that you can generate electricity from your own backyard for a small investment?

Well, if answer to all this is yes then I think you should consider creating power through solar energy and wind energy. A combination of this would give you all the electricity you would ever need to use at your home.
Solar power is the energy generated from sunlight. The advantage of it is that it is free to obtain and inexhaustible, you may get it anywhere and the installation of it can be done in the remotest of places. It is a clean energy with no risk of pollution and global warming as there is no emission. It maybe conserved and used for long period and once a solar power generator is installed the cost of maintenance and service is negligible. The main disadvantage is obtaining it in cold seasons and cold places. Solar panels are used to make the conservation of solar energy more effective.
Wind power is the energy generated from wind. Wind power like sun has the same advantages. It is well known as the most economical energy resource. It is conserved using wind mills and turbines.
The sun and wind being very abundant, we may alternate between these two to use as our complete energy resource. This way we may obtain more electricity than we would actually need. Though earlier the installation of these power plants to obtain electricity has been expensive there are methods now to install them very cheaply.
