Is chlorine a renewable resource?

Chlorine is not a natural resource, and therefore not eligible for classification as a renewable resource. Chlorine is an element that in nature is only found in compound form, such as sodium chloride, or table salt. Salt is a renewable resource, which makes the creation of chlorine renewable.
