Check with your Accountant and Contractor

If you are planning an Energy Efficient Home Improvement, you don't want to miss out on possible credits and incentives for your energy saving projects! These credits and taxes, however, can be tricky and you don't want to get in trouble with the IRS, especially if you are requesting multiple incentives for one project, which is absolutely possible. If in doubt at all, consult a tax professional.

It's a good idea to research these possible credits and incentives before you start your project. That way, you know what's available and can plan accordingly.
